Working as part of a small, friendly team, you'll help deliver high-quality marketing activity that supports our valued industry partners and strengthens the association's impact.

Role
This role is responsible for managing and delivering supporter marketing activity, ensuring all entitlements are fulfilled across all CBA communication channels, tracking performance, and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners. It involves coordinating marketing assets, scheduling and monitoring campaigns, updating web content, and providing clear post-campaign insights and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage the delivery of supporter marketing packages, ensuring each entitlement is fulfilled (e.g. social posts, newsletters, web features, SMS)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry supporters, becoming their main point of contact for day-to-day marketing activity
- Gather and prepare marketing materials from supporters (e.g. logos, offers etc) and ensure assets are correctly formatted and scheduled
- Use platforms Mailchimp and Hootsuite to schedule content and monitor performance
- Update the CBA website with supporter listings, logos, links, and promotions
- Keep detailed internal records of supporter activity, usage, deadlines, and communications
- Report back to supporters with basic performance insights after each campaign such as:
- Mailshot open and click rates (from Mailchimp)
- Social media engagement (from Hootsuite or platform insights)
- Survey responses or general feedback
- Prepare simple summary emails or reports to share campaign outcomes and suggest future opportunities
- Attend and participate in supporter calls and meetings; take notes and follow up on agreed actions
- Provide general support to the wider marketing function, including campaign planning, admin, and scheduling
Industry Supporter Relationship Management
- Attend supporter meetings and assist with onboarding new industry supporters
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with supporter contacts
- Act as a key point of contact, responding to emails and queries
- Coordinate marketing opportunities in line with each supporter's purchased package
- Keep internal records updated with contact details, activity logs, and deadlines
Marketing Package Delivery
- Schedule and manage marketing content across channels:
- Email campaigns via Mailchimp
- Social media content via Hootsuite
- Website updates (logos, links, blurbs, categories)
- SMS/text messages (as applicable)
- Ensure welcome posts, listings, and all entitlements are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Gather supporter-provided assets (graphics, logos, etc.) and ensure they meet brand guidelines
Reporting & Campaign Feedback
- Track performance of marketing activity
- Prepare simple reports for each supporter after key activity (e.g. mailshots, surveys, posts), including:
- Open/click rates
- Engagement metrics
- Survey response summaries
- Summarise outcomes via clear, professional emails and flag follow-up opportunities
General Marketing Support
- Support the Marketing & Communications Coordinator with ad-hoc marketing admin
- Help maintain a clear delivery calendar and supporter tracking system
- Contribute to CBA-wide marketing campaigns where needed (e.g. event promotions, newsletters)
- Attend Annual Business Day and assist with the organisation and administration of the event.
Skills
- Accurate typing skills.
- Must be able work as part of a small team.
- Able to take instruction and work effectively to deadlines.
- Proactive in all areas.
- Ability to use multiple resources whilst handling enquiries.
- Good communicator
- Competent in Word, Outlook and Excel
- All round knowledge of Databases.
- High attention to detail and ability to gather and record information from customers accurately.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Confident on the telephone.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Adaptable to changes in the working environment, targets and products.
- Must be flexible and willing to cover all duties in the event of holidays and sickness.
- There may be a requirement for occasional travel and overnight stays as part of the job role.
