Job Description
Marketing & Communication Coordinator (80-100%, temporary)
Role
In this role, you take an active part in driving marketing and communication activities in the Region Romandie. You ensure that initiatives are not only implemented, but well organised, visible and impactful.
A key focus of the role is the planning and execution of seminars and events, where you take ownership from concept to delivery.
You work closely with the Marketing & Communication Director Switzerland.
Main responsibilities:
Events & Seminars (key focus)
Take ownership of the organisation of seminars, events and smaller conferences
Plan, coordinate and execute events end-to-end (invitations, logistics, speakers, on-site presence)
Ensure a professional and smooth participant experience
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners
Marketing & Digital Communication
Support centres in their marketing and communication needs
Create and coordinate marketing materials (presentations, flyers, digital content)
Manage and update website content via CMS
Support social media activities (planning, creation, publishing)
Assist with newsletters and internal communication (SharePoint, Mailchimp)
Ensure content consistency across channels
Coordination & Execution
Drive projects forward and ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate with agencies, suppliers and internal teams
Support reporting and basic performance tracking
Handle administrative tasks in a structured and efficient way
Required profile
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communication or event management
Strong personality with a hands-on mindset and a sense of ownership
Proven ability to organise and deliver events or seminars
Structured, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable taking initiative and driving topics independently
Solution-oriented and pragmatic
Languages
Fluent French (working language)
Good English
German is a plus
Technical skills
Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Experience with website CMS (e.g. Strapi or similar)
Familiar with tools like Canva, Mailchimp or similar
Basic understanding of digital communication and content
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
