The Vision MCD Productions is currently inviting applications from passionate individuals who are determined to do great work in delivering exceptional campaigns - resulting in sold out venues and an unforgettable two hours of magic.Working with MCD's Promoters, Digital, PR and Creative teams, the position of Marketing & Campaign Executive exists as a pivotal support role in ensuring the effective and professional promotion of acts and artists across music, theatre, comedy, family attractions and exhibitions.You will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative and effective marketing campaigns, as well as contributing to creative meetings and the entertainment proposition to optimise ticket sales and continually improve the way we promote shows. Being instrumental in concept creation, you will create and execute targeted marketing plans.This is a key and exciting position which is critical to everything that MCD promotes. The Person A passion for understanding the consumer, for what music, theatre, comedy, family attractions and exhibition mean to different audiences, and what motivates consumer behaviour around live events Marketing/campaign/product/project management experience with either an agency or for a major event(s) company An ability to manage multiple projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines, in a fast-paced dynamic environment with evidence of commercial accountability Excellent knowledge of the campaign briefing business, together with experience in monitoring and the effective management of campaign budgets Excellent experience working across all media channels plus a proven track record in delivering online media (including Search Engine Marketing, Pay Per Click, email and social) Core Responsibilities Contributing to the creative development and successful implementation of MCD's integrated marketing strategy The creation (including concept creation) and execution of targeted marketing plans Defining campaign objectives and creating/delivering innovative and effective campaigns to optimise ticket sales and promote shows Supporting colleagues in Marketing, the Digital Marketing Department and across MCD in implementing integrated strategies with a particular focus on digital marketing Working with our agencies and in-house creative teams to produce compelling campaigns Working with venues, commercial and media partners to optimise exposure/achieve goals Engaging with MCD's PR, Creative, Social and Digital teams to ensure that campaigns are supported effectively, across different platforms and channels Measuring campaign performance and RoI to improve and power future campaigns Proposing creative recommendations, based on audience preferences/demographics and campaign performance, to improve marketing and campaign outcomesYou will support a dynamic team in delivering professional campaigns against ambitious timelines Skill & Knowledge Requirements A proven track record in the development, delivery and tracking of integrated campaigns, incorporating a data-driven mindset focused on the analysis of campaign results Experience in content creation - including in digital and social media A qualification in Marketing (or a similar discipline) and excellent attention to detail Passion for understanding the consumer, for what music, theatre, comedy, family attractions and exhibitions means to different audiences and what motivates consumer behaviour around live events Marketing /campaign/product/project management experience with either an agency or for a major event(s) company Ability to manage multiple projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with evidence of commercial accountability Excellent knowledge of the campaign briefing process Excellent experience working across all media channels plus a proven track record of delivering online media (including Search Engine Marketing, Pay Per Click, email and social) Strong time management and task prioritisation abilities Flexibility, resourcefulness and a high level of creativity Excellent written and oral communication skills Natural interpersonal and communicative abilities Strong organisation and project management skills/experience Equal Opportunities We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
