Market Intelligence Analyst (Product)

Our client is a boutique asset management house. Due to continued company growth and success, the business is now looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst to join their Product team on a permanent basis.

This role is best suited to candidates who have 2-3 years' experience in market intelligence within investment management houses.

Working directly alongside the Head of Product, the Market Intelligence Analyst will take responsibility for the following:

• Develop and take ownership of market intelligence frameworks, to include fund flows, trends and fund launches.
• Produce competitor research and analysis to inform product strategy and development initiatives, across all public markets asset classes.
• Identify, analyse and summarise longer-term industry forecasts.
• Present monthly reports to internal stakeholders.
• Evolve the product range management processes with colleagues in the team, using data to drive the production of informative product reviews.
• Support the Assessment of Value (AoV) reporting cycle with market trends analysis and data extraction.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

The Market Intelligence Analyst will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a role encompassing Market Intelligence within an asset management house.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a classification of at least a 2.1 (or equivalent).
• Studying towards CFA or IMC.
• Comfortable with large data sets.
• Knowledge of investment regulations.
• Effective communicator, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders from Board level through to administrative level.
