Join our Marine HR team and play a key role in supporting the people who keep our ships operating safely and efficiently around the world.

Position Summary

As part of our ship management team, the Marine Personnel Officer plays an essential role in supporting our seafarers and ensuring the effective operation of our fleet. Reporting to the Lead Marine Personnel Officer, this position is the main point of contact for our seafarers; managing appointments to vessels, overseeing certification compliance, and providing direct support both during and outside office hours when required. The role combines coordination, accuracy, and genuine engagement with the people who keep our ships running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll manage crew changes, travel logistics, documentation, and certification checks, working closely with ship teams and regional manning agencies to ensure compliance and accuracy. The role includes maintaining up-to-date crew records, coordinating payroll information, and assisting with budgeting and recruitment. You'll also manage communications related to retirements and resignations, support crew welfare and repatriation, and participate in emergency response and seafarer engagement activities.

What We're Looking For

You bring sound experience within the shipping industry and a solid understanding of crew management, vessel operations, and certification compliance. You are someone who manages competing priorities with composure and professionalism, ensuring that every detail is handled accurately and on time.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be collaborating with seafarers, colleagues, and external partners across regions. You're confident working with digital tools (including Microsoft Office and crew management systems) and you take pride in delivering a high standard of service and support. Above all, you are reliable, solutions-focused, and committed to maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Why Join Us

You'll join a team that values professionalism, accountability, and respect for the people who make our operations possible. We offer a collaborative environment where safety, compliance, and continuous improvement are central to everything we do.
