Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team supporting advanced technology applications across medical, semiconductor, scientific, and industrial sectors.

• Build electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards, and complete products

• Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and technical drawings

• Perform cleaning and packing of products using COSHH-controlled substances (PPE provided)

• Raise non-conformance reports, rework documentation, stores requisitions, and build documentation updates as required

• Follow static handling precautions and workmanship standards

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices

• Adhere to Quality Management (ISO9001), Environmental Management (ISO14001), and Health & Safety systems

• Work collaboratively to achieve team objectives

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

• Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience

• Soldering experience

• Understanding of mechanical assembly processes and procedures

• Knowledge of high voltage considerations (advantageous)

• Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques

• IPC certification (desirable)

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
