Manufacturing Technician 3 ( Front End Days)

This role will be transitioning to the Front End Day shift pattern in Q3 2026. This will consist of 12-hour day shifts every Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4-on/3-off - 3-on/4-off schedule.

Where you come in:

• You will work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble shooting functions.
• You will test performance of electro mechanical assemblies, using test equipment.
• You will operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• You will analyse and record test results, and prepare written documentation.
• You will perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• You will carry out activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer. These activities include the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations.
• You will follow Dexcom's Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program.
• You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.
• You will perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.
• You will update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed.

What makes you successful:

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers.
• Knowledge of and experience with PLC and Automated production/process equipment is desirable. Experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro/Mechanical systems and Resistance welders is highly desirable.
• Experience with process improvement projects i.e. improving yields, reducing downtime.
• Proven ability to work hands on in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills.
• Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development - Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation.
