Manufacturing Supervisor

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Well established Co. Waterford manufacturing company are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their rapidly growing business.

YOUR NEW JOB

• Lead daily production operations to achieve production plans, output targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate staffing, workflows, and production schedules to maximise efficiency, optimise resources, and minimise downtime.a
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Engage and support the production team in process improvement activities, encouraging a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring safe working practices are followed consistently across all production activities.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, allergen control, and GMP requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor product quality and resolve quality issues, working closely with Quality teams to investigate concerns and implement effective corrective actions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years' supervisory/management experience in a medium-to-large manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and perform independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to drive continuous improvement, improving productivity, quality, safety and employee engagement; knowledge of BRC, FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
