Logistics Supervisor - Hingham, MA

Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of inventory control and material handling in the manufacturing areas.
  • Improve inventory accuracy on the production floor and manage daily materials handling and shipping activities to support our manufacturing lines.
  • Promote a hazard free, 5S organized work environment through routine inspections, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Supervise hourly associates, manage staffing, provide training and performance feedback, and lead hiring, disciplinary actions, and motivation efforts.
  • Coordinate accurate inventory across all areas via cycle counts, ERP data accuracy, and variance reporting; manage receiving, put away, and material replenishment.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, ME, and supplier logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery and equipment readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement using LEAN tools, coordinate critical metrics such as efficiency and cycle times, and address operational challenges.
  • Use SAP for inventory and receiving activities; manage departmental budgets and purchase orders for inventoried materials.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years supervising teams of 5+ in warehousing, logistics, or materials handling within fast paced environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities; effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
  • APICS certification, Six Sigma, or Lean manufacturing certification.
Benefits

Siemens offers a comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. The pay range for this position is $79,000-$100,000 annually, with actual wages based on candidate experience, skills, and geographic location.
