Manufacturing Production Trainee Yate, Bristol Up to £24,000 + Career Progression

Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Production Trainee to join their dynamic workshop team, supporting the assembly and production of advanced robotic systems used in high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Production Trainee

Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. With full training provided, you'll gain practical, real-world experience across:

  • Goods inward processing - checking and booking in stock and materials
  • Stock control and data entry using MRP systems
  • Kitting and distributing parts to the assembly team
  • Supporting testing and quality control processes
  • Assembling mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Assisting with electrical sub-assemblies and wiring (including soldering and wiring looms)

Skills & Experience:

You don't need previous experience-just the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn:

  • A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing, or robotics
  • Hands-on mindset and willingness to get stuck in
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
