Job Description
Manufacturing Operator 
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a key role in supporting plant production by operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment. You will ensure that production processes run smoothly while meeting quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Assisting in maintaining plant production by performing repairs within scope of expertise.
- Interpreting and executing work orders in line with established safe work procedures.
- Performing mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on plant equipment as planned.
- Setting up, monitoring, and operating equipment used in manufacturing and production processes.
- Operating multiple machines simultaneously where required.
- Conducting quality assurance activities in line with manufacturing, engineering, and ISO requirements.
- Performing specialized process functions and operating associated equipment.
- Monitoring and testing production output to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Using general hand tools and precision measuring equipment effectively.
- Assisting with transporting, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
- Cleaning production equipment and collecting samples for analysis.
- Operating and adjusting controls to maintain process efficiency.
- Testing and repairing instrumentation systems to ensure consistent performance and product quality.
- Working in indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
- Demonstrating flexibility to support production requirements as needed.
- Have relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and hands on technical skills.
- Be familiar with safe work procedures and operational practices.
- Show ability to operate and maintain production equipment effectively.
- Possess basic knowledge of quality standards, including ISO requirements.
- Be comfortable working with general tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Work effectively under intermittent supervision.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced work setting.
- Follow competency management program requirements.
- Apply strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
- Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures, as defined in Baker Hughes policies, are adhered to at all times.
- Perform all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes safety and environmental procedures.
- Ensure all incidents and accidents are immediately reported and that all required documentation is completed.
