£65,000 + car allowance and pension etc

About the Role

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale production team? We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Operations Manager to take responsibility for driving performance at our busy manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will lead daily production meetings and manage 5-6 direct reports, overseeing a workforce of over 150.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production meetings and ensure alignment on safety, quality, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.
  • Manage 5-6 direct reports and oversee a manufacturing workforce of over 150.
  • Optimise manufacturing resources, equipment, and processes to meet daily output goals.
  • Set and uphold clear standards for manufacturing supervisors, developing their leadership skills and nurturing future talent.
  • Support process improvements that reduce manual work and improve operator productivity.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing facility.
  • Technical background with the ability to understand engineering and maintenance issues.
  • Experience running daily manufacturing meetings covering safety, quality, engineering, and production objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage manufacturing teams to achieve optimised production levels.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
