Manufacturing Manager

We at Jackie Kerr Recruitment are excited to be recruiting a Manufacturing Manager for a forward-thinking, manufacturing company who carry out work for sectors including Aerospace, Defence and Medical!

The successful Manufacturing Manager will report to the Manufacturing Director.

Manufacturing Manager Main Duties:

• Achieving the manufacturing objectives as set by the Board of Directors
• Planning, coordinating and controlling manufacturing activities to ensure quality, cost and delivery metrics are achieved
• Capacity planning to ensure that resources are available to achieve the manufacturing plan
• Management of manufacturing employees including recruitment, appraisals, training and disciplinary matters
• Managing all aspects of Health and Safety in the manufacturing area

Manufacturing Manager Skills and Experience:

• Management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Resource management and planning
• Understanding of financial and operating metrics
• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic business environment
• Strong communication skills
