Your background as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • You will hold a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in engineering, manufacturing, or a similar technical / engineering / science-based discipline.

  • Any previous experience of working in a manufacturing engineering, production engineering or similar types of roles in an engineering, manufacturing, or materials science-based environment would be advantageous.

  • An interest in working on the development of products for automotive, specialist vehicles, aerospace, defence, marine or similar applications would be beneficial.

  • You must be a sole British passport holder to be eligible for UK Defence Security Clearance for this role.


Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:

  • As a Manufacturing Engineer you will contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, feeding into research & development, devising, and improving processes, collaborating with suppliers, customers, colleagues to support production activities.

  • Help drive manufacturing excellence through root cause investigation, process optimisation, and performance monitoring.

  • Maintain robust, efficient, and future-ready processes, while ensuring readiness for new product and customer introductions.

  • Champion manufacturing innovation and collaborate with R&D to seamlessly integrate new products.
