- Conduct inspection activities, including in-process checks, final inspections, and raising non-conformance reports.
- Carry out investigations into non-conformance issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with departments such as Design, Assembly, Quality, Procurement and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Lead or support improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, or efficiency.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
- Drive continuous improvement using LEAN tools and support manufacturing projects from planning through to execution.
- HNC in a relevant engineering subject area with at least 2 years' manufacturing experience, or a graduate with equivalent training.
- Experience or willingness to train in CMM programming and operation (PC-DMIS or Quindos preferred).
- Comfortable working rotating early and late shifts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Good IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong health and safety awareness and a continuous improvement mentality.
- Sound understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- LEAN awareness and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- 26 dys holiday, increasing to 29 days with time served.
- Access to a flexible benefits portal for private medical cover, cycle-to-work schemes, and more.
- A class-leading adjustable pension scheme.
- Opportunities for career development and continuous learning.
- The chance to work on innovative projects that shape the future of Siemens Energy and manufacturing.
