The purpose of the role is to

This role will mainly but not solely revolve around manufacturing refrigeration plant, fitting and wiring electrical equipment in the workshop. You will also be supporting the pre-commissioning team on new and existing equipment.

As an Electrical Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient design and production of our refrigeration plants. This role involves troubleshooting, overseeing the electrical aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring the quality is of our high standards and all procedures followed whilst reporting to the Team Leader.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for the installation of control panels and routing of electrical cables as instructed, ensuring compliance with quality, safety procedures.
• Support the manufacturing process by recommending and implementing improvements for efficiency, cost reduction and product quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during production, offering solutions to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Ensure all electrical components are installed correctly and safely.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism in accordance with company procedures/polices.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across all workshop areas.
• In addition to the responsibilities outlines above, employees are expected to be flexible and take on other tasks as needed to support the company's goals.
