Manufacturing and Rework Manager

Reports To

Warehouse and Distribution Manager

Job Responsibilities

To oversee and manage the 'manufacture' of one product into another through labelling and packaging to customer specifications, and to 'rework' product where required to add/replace components to ensure a product meets its specification and as required by the customer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scheduling 'manufacturing' and 'rework' orders to meet planning requirements
• Manage team carrying out 'manufacturing' and 'rework' tasks to meet production schedules
• Liaise with and manage external companies for carrying out 'rework' and 'manufacturing' to Deta's requirements
• Ensure materials area available so that the 'manufacturing' or 'rework' tasks can be completed to meet the planning requirements
• Monitor and report on product workflow

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Experience in a similar function
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiar with ERP systems
• Methodical, organised
• Disciplined approach to work problems and problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication
