Salary: to £85k + package + subsistence if required

Based: Suffolk (IP10 0DD) + Hybrid

An exciting role for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a respected and highly regarded civils contractor, who have been awarded a major portfolio of work on one of the UK's most talked about and prestigious infrastructure contracts!

About the Project and Role

Our client is part of a major framework that will be delivering complex civils and infrastructure works. Reporting into the Lead Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for pre and post construction commercial tasks. You will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure the clients deliverables are met and be able to negotiate and manage change throughout. You will assist in managing and mentoring junior commercial staff members, playing a key role in developing a positive and collaborative working environment.

The role will see you work closely with the Project Delivery Team to deliver this unique project that will be key in supporting the build process of this UK Mega Project. You will work closely with the client and supply chain, upholding the contractors commercial interest and benefits.

The suitable candidate will have the following experience:

• Strong NEC experience
• Good client facing skills
• Strong contractual background
• Commercially astute, be able to spot commercial opportunity
