Managing Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Managing QS to join our commercial team on the Clyde framework at Faslane.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee cost planning, budgeting and cost control process for multi-disciplinary design, construction and Infrastructure projects.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of both Client Contracts and Subcontracts
• Prepare and negotiate quotations and variations in accordance with project requirements
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Clients, Contractors and Designers.
• Ensure project compliance with regulations, standards and company policies.
• Analyse and report on project cost, value, risk and overall performance.

To thrive in the role you will have

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC Construction Contracts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Manage junior members of staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
