The Body Shop is seeking an inspiring Managing Director UK to lead our largest market into its next chapter of growth and reinvention. Reporting to the Chief Commercial & Brand Officer, the MD will be responsible for driving the UK business with full accountability across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and brand experience.

This is a pivotal role at an iconic British brand entering a new era - balancing respect for our unique legacy with bold reinvention to ensure relevance for today and tomorrow's consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK market with full P&L accountability, delivering sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Elevate brand equity in the UK through exceptional retail execution, digital acceleration, and best-in-class customer experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally to land the global brand rejuvenation and bring to life The Body Shop's new identity and purpose in the UK.
  • Inspire and empower a team of passionate professionals, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and purpose-driven culture.
  • Map current distribution and design the UK 3-year channel growth plan, including retail opportunities, wholesale doors, e-tailers, and outlets.
  • Engage and grow our UK loyal customer base, while defining a clear customer roadmap to recruit and convert new clients.
  • Strengthen our omnichannel presence, from flagship stores to digital platforms, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Build strong external partnerships to amplify brand relevance and market impact.

  • A seasoned commercial leader with proven experience in retail, beauty, consumer goods, or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, multi-channel organisations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to balance immediate commercial delivery and long-term brand building.
  • A people-centric leader with a track record of building and motivating teams.
