An excellent opportunity for a Managing Consultant has arisen to join the Forensic Planning division of a leading specialist consultancy that provides expert advice in Delay Analysis, Claims and Disputes, Forensic Planning, capital investment programme management, construction project management, and construction costs management in the UK and overseas. This role offers exposure to both national and international projects, with a significant focus on overseas major projects, based from a London office.

You will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of Expert Witness services to key clients, providing first-class service across various sectors. These projects are typically high-value and complex, both in the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provision of specialist expert advice to external clients
• Supporting the provision of expert advice on all dispute resolution areas
• Assisting appointed Experts on selected commissions
• Delivering expert claims services in line with client briefs
• Providing coaching and training on specialist areas to junior staff
• Writing Expert Reports to support the Lead Expert

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong on-site experience is essential
• Experience in programme management on major projects
• Claims management and dispute resolution experience is preferred but not essential
• Ability to speak additional languages alongside fluent English is a plus

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• A relevant construction degree or equivalent is strongly preferred
• Qualifications in construction law are advantageous
