Job DescriptionThe Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to lead the development and execution of advanced BI and analytical capabilities within this organization. This role will be essential in converting extensive data resources into actionable insights that enhance strategic decision-making across various functions. The successful candidate will mentor and engage with team members and drive initiatives to maximize the value derived from data.
You will collaborate extensively with departments such as Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to tackle key challenges like pricing strategies, supply chain efficiency, and digital performance optimization, promoting a robust data-driven culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and execute analytic decision-making pipelines that transform complex data into strategic insights for a range of organizational users.
- Design, manage, and refine an assortment of dashboards and reports focused on delivering rigorous analytics coupled with effective visual communication.
- Foster an analytic-centric culture by mentoring team members and implementing data governance best practices throughout the company.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to pinpoint business challenges, devising quantitative solutions that lay the groundwork for data engineering methodologies.
- Ensure the integrity, accessibility, and accuracy of the company's data assets, establishing trustworthiness in all analytical operations.
- Conduct on-demand research and various analytic projects, presenting pivotal insights to guide business strategy and stakeholder decision-making.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 6 years in analytical roles, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope.
- Expertise in SQL and Tableau at an advanced level, with the ability to coach others in these technologies.
- Extensive experience across multiple analytical domains, including revenue management, digital optimization, segmentation, and forecasting.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with the ability to create compelling visual data presentations.
- Self-directed with a proven capability to thrive in ambiguous settings.
