Management Accountant

Butler Rose is recruiting a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and delivering meaningful insight to support business performance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting compliance requirements, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepayments Deliver regular financial and sales reporting to stakeholders Assist with audit processes and statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting requirements Analyse financial data to identify trends and support business decision-making Complete ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

About You Fully or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or qualified by experience with relevant skills Strong IT skills with experience handling large datasets using Excel and/or ERP systems Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality, accurate work
