Male Senior Residential Support Worker Location: M14 Rusholme Salary: £33,493 - £37,062 (including sleep-ins) Hours: 40 hours per week approx. 2 sleep-ins per week

About the Role SafeChild Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for a 3-bed children's home supporting young people aged 7-17 with SEMH needs.

You will support day-to-day care, safeguarding, and development of young people, promoting independence and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver child-centred care based on individual needs
• Support education, routines, and independence
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
• Safeguard children and respond to concerns appropriately
• Work with families and external professionals
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain boundaries
• Support and guide junior staff

Requirements

• Experience in children's residential care
• Level 3 Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of SEMH and safeguarding
• Ability to work shifts, sleep ins, and occasional waking nights
