Male Personal Assistant - 8703SCCR

Hours: 16 hours per week

Area: Hebburn, South Tyneside

Hourly rate: from age related national minimum wage to £13.43 per hour

Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata)

Full U.K. driving licence essential

We are looking for a Personal Assistant who can support a power chair user, adult male (42) who seeks someone to act as a driver (person has own mobility vehicle) and companion.

Hours are 16 in total, normally 2 eight-hour days, usually Tuesday and Sunday, but you will need to be flexible due to the person's wide range of activities and interests, hours and days can vary with the possibility of more hours.

PA will be responsible for driving to:

• weekly athletic training sessions and competitions
• to weekly archery sessions
• to a weekly arts and craft sessions
• occasionally to or from his place of employment
• occasionally to his weekly drama club

This person loves days out so driving to Amble, Alnwick Gardens, Gibside, the Metro Centre and The Range is quite common practice.

Other activities that are of interest to the person are fishing, D.I.Y. and gardening.
