Isabel Mayfair is seeking a charismatic, polished, and highly professionalMaître D to lead our guest arrival experience and act as the face of our front-of-house team.

Location: Piccadilly, Central London (W1), W1S 4HY
Salary: From £40,000 to £50,000 per annum Plus Bonus

Since opening in 2017, at number 26 Albemarle Street, Isabel remains one of the most distinctive restaurants and bars in London, known for its vibrant fusion of Latin and Mediterranean cuisine, glamorous atmosphere, and exceptional late-night experience in our exclusive Dragon Room.

As Maître D', you will ensure every guest receives a warm, professional, and seamless welcome while maintaining the high standards expected in a leading Mayfair venue.

You will work closely with management and floor teams to deliver an exceptional guest journey from arrival through departure

We are seeking someone who leads from the front, sets the tone for service, and represents the restaurant with professionalism, charm, and presence. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the door with confidence and discretion are key.

Mayfair experience and a strong understanding of luxury guest expectations are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism
• Managing reservations and seating to ensure smooth service flow
• Building relationships with returning and VIP guests
• Coordinating with management and service teams to maintain exceptional service standards
• Representing Isabel's brand and atmosphere at all times

We are looking for a hospitality professional who:

• Has at least 5 years' experience working within Mayfair venues
• Has experience working in private members' clubs or similarly high-end establishments, comparable to Isabel Mayfair
• Has proven experience managing VIP and high-profile clientele
• Is a natural host with warmth, confidence, and strong presence
• Demonstrates impeccable presentation and communication skills
• Has strong ability to recognise and build relationships with regular and VIP guests
• Remains calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
• Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Has experience managing reservations and coordinating guest flow during service
• Naturally creates memorable guest experiences
• Maintains a polished and professional approach at all times, embodying luxury hospitality standards
