- As the Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning and general upkeep of all manufacturing areas and support facilities, rapidly resolving technical issues as they arise.
- You will develop procedures to make operations more efficient, emphasizing inventory controls, reducing waste, and fine tuning workflow processes.
- Work closely with management to align maintenance priorities with changing business needs and offer strategic support when required.
- Oversee and optimize spending related to facilities and equipment, always seeking opportunities for cost improvement.
- Design and update plans for emergency incidents, ensuring safety standards are maintained for everyone onsite.
- Take charge of regular and preventive engineering work, including troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.
- Identify technical issues using PLC diagnostics, driving continuous improvements on the factory floor.
- At least 3 years working in a similar role within manufacturing, ideally in a regulated, high output environment.
- Fully qualified Electrician (National Craft Senior Trades or similar certification required).
- Background in Lean Six Sigma settings advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Residency and work eligibility for full time roles in Ireland.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations considered a plus.
