Job Description:

Madisons Engineering is working with a leading national processing plant that is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer or maintenance team leader looking to step into a more managerial role. The Maintenance Team Leader will play a key role in project planning, organizing the maintenance team on machinery, improving efficiencies, and being involved in CAPEX projects. This role offers a pathway to becoming an Engineering Manager, as the company has ambitious growth plans.

The Engineering Manager will also benefit from working with a forward-thinking business that invests heavily in staff training and development.

Skills required for the Maintenance Team Leader:

• Control and manage maintenance activities using preventative measures to minimize downtime.
• Implement a planned maintenance system.
• Ensure rapid response to breakdowns and follow-up to identify corrective actions.
• Coordinate all activities related to CAPEX applications and project delivery.
• Provide strong leadership and coaching to staff across the business.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all site engineering and maintenance activities safely and within budget.
• Ensure all engineers and suppliers comply with SHEQ standards.
• An engineering qualification is required for the Engineering Manager role.
