Maintenance Person

This is a permanent Maintenance Person role at Hazlemere Lodge care home in High Wycombe, part of the Agincare group. The role involves maintaining the building and grounds, including repairs, painting, decorating, and grounds maintenance, to ensure the safety of residents.

Main duties of the job

• Maintain the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements.
• Assess and undertake repairs including painting, decorating, plastering, and repairing doors and windows.
• Liaise with head office to refer the repair to a contractor if work cannot be completed internally.
• Ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the care home is safe for all residents.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
