Maintenance Operative

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance & Fabric Operative to join a leading property brand at a high-profile, prestigious residential estate in South East London.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes real pride in their work and enjoys being part of a professional, customer-focused on-site team.

The RoleYou'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks across the estate, ensuring the buildings and communal areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• General fabric maintenance (painting & decorating, basic carpentry, patch repairs, minor plumbing tasks, etc.)

• Responding to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

• Completing PPMs and ensuring works are logged accurately

• Supporting with inspections of communal areas and reporting defects

• Working closely with the on-site management and wider FM team

• Always delivering excellent customer service to residents

About You

• Proven experience in a fabric or multi-skilled maintenance role (ideally within residential or commercial property)

• Strong practical skillset with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Comfortable working in a resident-facing environment

• Good communication skills and a professional appearance

• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
