People like you!Job DescriptionRole: Maintenance Manager THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum productivity, quality, and safety while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.BenefitsHealth Insurance (includes teledoc, virtual health, FSA, HCSA & other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceHealth Spending AccountEmployee Support and Mental WellnessShort term disability401k MatchPaid vacationFloating daysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition ReimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsResponsibilities:Reports to the Plant Manager and participates as a member of the Plant Leadership TeamLeads and supervises the plant maintenance organization (Maintenance Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Planner/Scheduler, Inventory Coordinators)Drives maintenance safety programs to achieve plant goals, including Zero InjuriesManages and oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs using best practicesPlans, prioritizes, and coordinates maintenance activities with operations to ensure high reliability and low costEnsures maintenance staff are trained, equipped, motivated, and performing work safely and efficientlyConducts regular communication and performance feedback to assess team competency and development needsUtilizes CMMS to track work orders, spare parts, equipment history, and maintenance recordsMonitors spare parts inventory, maintenance supplies, and maintains accurate documentation and records complianceManages maintenance budgets, analyzes performance data, and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements while implementing cost-saving initiativesRequirementsBachelor's degree in a related technical field (BSME preferred)5-10+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 3+ years in continuous manufacturing preferredStrong understanding of plant financials and performance metrics to drive cost efficiencyHands-on experience with repair and maintenance of process equipmentProven ability to conduct assessments, audits, and performance evaluationsDemonstrated leadership skills managing diverse teams across varying skill levelsStrong analytical, data-driven problem-solving and action-planning capabilitiesExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to influence outcomesExperience improving KPIs (e.g., OEE) with strong troubleshooting and root cause/corrective action (RC/CA) skillsBackground in preventive/predictive maintenance, KPI-driven leadership, and maintaining a strong sense of urgency and accountability in a safety-sensitive environment of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
