Maintenance Manager

Planet Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client based in Abingdon in a permanent full-time position.

Key responsibilities

The day-to-day management and supervision of a team of maintenance staff including Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians and multi trade operatives.

Monitor performance, develop work schedules and allocate tasks.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance within regulations.

Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests, oversee planned preventative and reactive repairs across all facilities.

Manage maintenance budgets effectively, including the procurement of materials and contractor services.

Carry out annual appraisals for the department.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience, qualifications and work history in a registered trade position.

Excellent I.T. knowledge

Strong knowledge of building systems

Ability to manage budgets

Excellent leadership and organisational skills

Hours are Monday to Friday with flexibility when required
