Kingfisher House Care Home in Perth is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury home offering Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. With 77 beautifully designed bedrooms, modern surroundings, and outstanding facilities including a cinema, café, hair salon, library, and sensory room, it provides an exceptional working environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

We are now looking for a dedicated Maintenance Manager to ensure our home and equipment are always maintained to the highest standard, creating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for everyone.

What We Offer

• £14.50 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
• Pension scheme, paid PVG, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will DoIn this role, you will take ownership of the upkeep of our home, carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and regular inspections to ensure everything is safe, functional, and well-presented. You will be hands-on with daily tasks such as checking safety systems, maintaining equipment, carrying out electrical and building inspections, and overseeing grounds maintenance.

You will also manage stock and supplies, support renovation projects, and work closely with the home's management team to ensure high standards of quality, health, and safety are always met.

About YouYou will be practical, organised, and able to turn your hand to a variety of maintenance tasks with confidence. A strong understanding of health and safety procedures is essential, along with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise effectively. Previous experience in a maintenance role is required, ideally within a care home or similar environment.
