Maintenance Manager - CNC Machining (Days, Mon - Fri)

Based in the South Belfast area, my client is a successful international heavy engineering company who manufacture automotive products for the global market. They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for their machining department. On offer is a salary of £50,000 - £55,000, 33 holidays, pension 9%, death in service, sick pay, private healthcare for you and your family and a subsidised canteen. The hours are Mon -Thurs 7am - 3.30pm and Fri 7am - 1.30pm.

Role - Maintenance Manager

• Reporting to the Maintenance Business Unit Manager and responsible for all CNC machining across the department, the successful candidate will be required to motivate and drive the Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown teams on a daily basis in order to achieve overall department objectives.
• Liaise with Production Manager and Production Supervisor for priorities and attend daily lineside meetings.
• Work to reduce plant downtime, cycle time and scrap by the continuous improvement of machinery in conjunction with production personnel and plant engineering.

Person - Maintenance Manager

• An HND or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or manufacturing)
• Two years' experience of working in a maintenance management role in a manufacturing setting
• Technical knowledge of CNC machines including 3 and 5-axis milling machines.
• Familiar with CNC machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
