At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Maintenance Fitter with experience in the FMCG industry to join our client's growing team based in North Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:

• Performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment such as (baggers, packers, washline equipment) to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborating with production staff to schedule maintenance activities minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
• Inspecting equipment regularly to identify problems or potential failures and take corrective actions.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and inspection results.

Experience you need:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in maintenance within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Electrical knowledge/ experience extremely beneficial
• Flexibility to work shifts/ weekends is required
