An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established automotive manufacturing company based in Pudsey. The business is continuing to grow and invest heavily into the site and is looking for a strong Maintenance Engineer to support production and engineering operations on a permanent nights shift.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of packaging and production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the site.

This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable nights-based role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Automotive Manufacturing

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding experience
• Ability to work permanent nights
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Strong understanding of production machinery and manufacturing environments

• Carrying out PPMs and breakdown repairs
• Fault finding on production and packaging machinery
• Supporting continuous improvement activities
• Maintaining accurate engineering records
• Working effectively as part of the engineering team
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

• Packaging industry experience
• Engineering qualifications
• Multi-skilled engineering background
• Conveyor or automated machinery experience
• CNC Machinery experience
