I'm looking for a Maintenance Engineer who doesn't just fix problems, but prevents them. Someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and enjoys finding practical solutions in a fast-paced environment. If you're proactive, hands-on, and driven by improving reliability and safety, we want to hear from you.

The Role- You'll play a vital role in supporting the Engineering team, ensuring all systems, glasshouse facilities, and associated equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. Working closely with other departments, you'll help reduce breakdowns, improve processes, and contribute to the long-term performance of our sites. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and production equipment (including boilers, high-pressure pumps, and gearboxes)

• Diagnose faults quickly and take ownership of repairs and refurbishments

• Proactively identify potential issues before they become problems

• Conduct daily machinery checks and ensure all work is completed safely

• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

• Liaise with suppliers and specialist contractors when required

• Control maintenance tools, stores, and costs

• Support site projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Experience maintaining and repairing production machinery

• Flexible approach to working hours

• Full, clean UK driving licence

• Proactive, solution driven attitude
