Maintenance Engineer

A well-established leading company based outside of York is looking for an experienced, highly motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the business. Preferably with experience from a manufacturing or distribution sector background. This is a varied role, over a large site with a dynamic, friendly environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include:

1. Deliver effective support in checking, repairing, and servicing machinery, equipment, systems, and infrastructures.
2. Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably, including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
3. Maintain full plant operation with reactive and PPM (Preventive Planned Maintenance) and strong Health and Safety awareness.
4. Assist with calibrating fixed and portable temperature monitoring equipment.
5. Ensure machinery and equipment operate smoothly and reliably.
