Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing - Up to 55K + Bonus - Rochester

We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join an award-winning British produce establishment with over 75 years of history, based in Rochester.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, passionate, and hardworking, preferably with an electrical bias and experience within a manufacturing environment.

The role's primary responsibility is to support and facilitate the planned, preventative, and routine maintenance of equipment and machinery on site to ensure smooth operations.

Maintenance Engineer Experience:

1. Previous Multi-Skilled or Maintenance Engineer background in a manufacturing setting
2. Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent
3. Electrical and Mechanical skills
4. Adherence to health and safety guidelines
5. Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
6. Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
7. Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
8. PLC fault finding and diagnostics experience

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a good communicator, and uphold high standards of professionalism. Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and teamwork abilities are essential.
