I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking company for a Nightshift Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key part of the maintenance team, helping keep production running through a mix of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance.

This opportunity would suit someone who:

• Takes pride in proper fault finding and long-term fixes

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across plant and machinery

• Work in a proactive, preventative maintenance environment

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

• Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce repeat breakdowns

• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects

• Liaise with contractors and ensure RAMS compliance

• Update and maintain records on the CMMS system

• Complete remedial work following PPM activities

• Electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent apprenticeship)

• Mechanical experience beneficial

• Background in heavy engineering / manufacturing / industrial environments

• Strong experience in reactive and planned maintenance

• Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems

• Experience with or exposure to PLC systems

• Comfortable working independently on a nightshift pattern

• Location: Leeds

• Shift: Nightshift only
