Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical/automation systems to optimise operational workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure all automation systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, providing timely resolutions to any issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all automated systems and processes.
• Provide training and support to operational teams on the use of automation tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and methodologies.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise for automation projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes in the retail industry.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and safety standards for automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
