Maintenance Assistant - Dublin based (part time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications /procedures for each item.
Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance.
Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks.
Examine customers' appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
Provide rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
The ability to use various hand tools.
Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
