Maintenance and Calibration Engineer

Skills and experience required: Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience Experience in a highly technical manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of tooling, tolerancing and process controlsAbility to support and plan for future opportunities/volumes, while having the ability to manage day-to-day activities Experience/ knowledge in lean manufacturing principles (VSM, etc.) and variance analysis (6 Sigma) Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their limitations Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and scheduling Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach An ability to communicate complex and technical processes to diverse audiences, orally and in writing UK driving license and ability to travel.
