Location: Leeds

Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 2 days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

Salary: From £28,500 (dependent on experience)

HRGO Recruitment is on the hunt for a Production Operative for our client based in Leeds. Our client is part of a global firm, manufacturing plastic packaging and supplying to a variety of major brands.

We are looking for an experienced Production Operative who is logical and a real team player to ensure our client's fast paced production line goes smoothly.

Main Responsibilities of a Production Operative

• Operate, maintain, and optimise EBM & Injection Moulding machines on site
• Ensure execution of the production schedule
• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment as required
• Carry out production changeovers and start up processes
• Inspect finished products visually or via camera systems
• Conduct routine quality checks
• Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work space

Experience & Background

• Must have experience in a fast paced production facility.
• Experience with injection moulding machines would be desirable, but not essential.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations

Technical Skills

• Experience with tool changes and planned maintenance is a plus
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge is advantageous
