Mac Engineer

An IT Solutions Provider are looking for a Mac Engineer. Their end client for this requirement is a Venture Capital firm based in Central London, their office is state of the art and fitted out with the latest and greatest Apple tech! They are looking for an onsite L1 Mac Engineer to support the 120 users onsite.

The work will involve floorwalking and helping users with day to day needs - checking meeting rooms are set up correctly, supporting MAC laptops onsite, helping with cabling, even their coffee machine is linked to an iPad so making sure that is working ok! Other tasks will include maintaining inventory and helping with JML processes. They want someone who can face off to the customer and keep users happy - you won't be expected to have to solve everything - but you would need to be L1 and escalate to the relevant people at Econocom who provide a managed service to this customer. There's even a chance you could get called in to help with the Apple Screens on the owners private yacht and potentially some opportunities for international travel

The tech stack is Apple/Mac for laptops, monitors, iPads and meeting room TV's - The wider stack is Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace and Okta - if you've got any existing skills/exposure that would help get you up and running quickly. However, they are also happy to upskill and assist you with develop your skills.

• Contract - 12 months initial
• Location - London (4 days p/w onsite/1 day remote)
• Perks - Michelin private chef onsite - cheeseboard at 3pm! Fully stocked drinks fridges, snacks and will get to attend company socials
