Recotherm is a market-leading swimming pool air handling unit (AHU) manufacturer supplying innovative, high-quality solutions to the commercial and domestic marketplace for over 40 years.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven M&E Sales/Design Manager to join our senior management team.

The Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for a sales-focused mechanical designer with strong leadership, presentation and communication skills to drive business growth, expand our M&E sales team and design and lead high-value M&E projects.

This high-impact senior management position offers the opportunity to shape the future of Recotherm through a focus on technical sales, design knowledge, business development and team growth. You will be responsible for driving technical engagement with M&E contractors and consultants, expanding and mentoring a team of Design Technicians, delivering strategic sales initiatives, presenting CPDs and representing the company at industry trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead M&E HVAC sales, engaging with M&E contractors and consultants to drive business growth
• Expand and develop the design team, recruiting and mentoring new talent
• Overseeall M&E projects, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction
• Responsibility for approximately 40% of M&E quotations
• Deliver engaging presentations and CPD training to industry professionals
• Participate intechnical and management meetings, contributing to business strategy
• Provideverbal and written technical expertise, ensuring clear and confident communication
• Handlecomplex technical challengesand customer conflict resolution effectively

What We're Looking For

• A dynamic leaderwith a passion forgrowing and developing high-performing teams
• Proven sales-driven mechanical designerwith a strong commercial focus
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage clients and stakeholders effectively
• Strong presentation skills, confident in delivering CPD training and industry talks
• HVAC & AHU expertise, with detailed knowledge of psychrometrics (essential)
• Knowledge of swimming pool ventilation (preferred but training can be given)
• Proficiency in CAD, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of Salesforce (or equivalent) although full training will be given
• Previous team management experience, with the ability to recruit, lead, and develop staff
• A strategic thinker who is ambitious and driven to step into a board level role in the future
• A qualification in either M&E Engineering, Building Services Management or Environmental Engineering
• A CIBSE member
• Must have 5-10 years working experience within the M&E sector
