M&E Project Engineer (Rail experience)

Contract Inside IR35 £500-£550 p/day Birmingham (Hybrid)

We're seeking an experienced M&E / Building Services Project Engineer to support a portfolio of UK railway building projects. This role is based in Birmingham with 1-2 days a week in the office and occasional site visits.

• Deliver and coordinate M&E / Building Services packages across railway buildings.
• Manage contractors & consultants, technical queries, and compliance with railway standards.
• Oversee services such as M&E systems such as lighting, small power, LV, fire systems,
• Support assurance, inspections, and safe delivery in operational rail environments.

• Proven M&E / Building Services experience on railway buildings (stations, depots, operational buildings).
• Background with Principal Contractors or client-side rail organisations.
• Experience managing building services works up to £500k.
• Strong understanding of rail safety, standards, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
