Role

We're looking for a Logistics Maintenance Colleague to join our Distribution Centre. You'll proactively support the engineering team with day-to-day plant activities, carrying out basic first-fix tasks (as trained) and supporting Plant Service as required.

Responsibilities
  • Work efficiently when carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance.
  • Promote continuous improvement by raising awareness of plant issues and improvements to the engineering team leader.
  • Assist with an effective fault response service in line with business requirements, e.g. holiday cover, or increases in business requirements.
  • Attend presentations and briefings given to the engineering team in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all reporting, recording, and administration requirements are completed (e.g. daily reports).
  • Ensure you are trained for all identified activities you carry out and that you have signed documentation to support these areas.
  • Continuously monitor the plant for potential issues; report these to the Team Leader or Engineers and record them on your report.
  • Follow all H&S guidelines in place.
Qualifications
  • Experience or ability to work in a maintenance/engineering environment within a distribution/industrial setting.
  • Ability to maintain stores stock accuracy and reporting relevant metrics.
  • Keep up to date with ESSOW revisions and procedures.
  • Ability to keep engineering areas presentable for Hygiene inspections.
