Cognita has formed a partnership with the Alleyn's Schools Group to establish two leading independent day schools in north London. This pioneering collaboration brings together one of the world's most influential education groups, Cognita, which educates over 100,000 students across 21 countries, and Alleyn's, south London's finest co educational day school and Co educational School of the Year 2025.
As part of this partnership, North Bridge House Regent's Park Prep and North Bridge House Hampstead are becoming Alleyn's schools. Alleyn's Regent's Park successfully transitioned this September, welcoming pupils aged 4-13. Alleyn's Hampstead will follow in September 2026, offering an exceptional education for pupils aged 2-18 and bringing the distinctive Alleyn's ethos of academic excellence, creativity, and care to north London.
About the RoleAs the Lower Junior School Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for pupils in Years 1-3 at Alleyn's Hampstead Nursery & Junior School. You will lead with kindness, ambition, and purpose, ensuring that every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. This is both a strategic and hands on position: you will guide curriculum development, drive high quality teaching and learning, and contribute to the overall vision and development of the school, while also maintaining your own teaching commitment. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, support whole school initiatives, and help build an inclusive, nurturing culture rooted in the school's ROCCK values. As a visible and proactive leader, you will foster strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents, ensuring seamless transitions, effective pastoral care, and a learning environment where every child feels known and valued.
This is a permanent, full time role starting in September 2026.
