Job Description
We will accomplish together Project Manager for low voltage electricity Within the Technical and Logistics Support (STL) activity, the Solutions unit aims to provide global, agile, and sustainable support to SIG by designing, organizing, and optimizing technical means of production. It ensures the effective provision of resources (infrastructures, equipment) as well as their responsible management, to support the performance of field teams while integrating principles of safety, ergonomics, and quality. As a project manager for low voltage electricity (BT), you will be responsible for the design and studies of part of the electrical aspects and/or the monitoring of corresponding works for infrastructure projects related to electricity distribution in various SIG works. You will primarily ensure the smooth running of the business entrusted to the technical office (SOLU-BTE) and energy services for a sustainable Geneva. As a project manager for low voltage electricity, your main missions will include: - Ensuring the development of technical business in the electrical and backup energy sectors; - Providing advice to clients by analyzing their needs, searching for technical solutions, and proposing alternatives; - Conducting studies within your scope, under the direction of higher levels, and writing reports; - Preparing technical specifications for supplier and contractor calls for tenders; - Formulating selection choices; - Establishing offers to internal and external clients; - Managing the execution phase of various projects (project management), monitoring technical formalities, commissioning, acceptance, and defects; - Enforcing safety, environmental, and legal rules after customer service; - Managing a team of project managers and overseeing project management and associated risks to ensure the costs, quality, and timelines of the project; - Taking charge of the financial and technical management of the projects entrusted to you; - Developing various official documents for the monitoring and control bodies of electrical operations; - Contributing to the unit's efficiency by engaging in technological monitoring and proposing new techniques or practices.Personal attributes and skills Equipped with excellent listening skills, you know how to advise and support your clients in a proactive and committed manner, clearly translating their electrical needs. Excellent in your interactions with clients, you adapt to the evolution of technologies and the environment, demonstrate resilience, and this position requires a background at a higher level in project management and solid experience in technical project management. You have at least 5 years of experience, particularly in a technical office project leadership. Knowledge of the SAP ISU environment would be an asset. You are required to be on call 24/7 in rotation with your colleagues and must hold a driving license for vehicles.Academic background:Electrical engineer with 8 to 9 years of experience, certified electrician with federal proficiency as well as a minimum of 8 years of experience. Being a holder of article 8 (professional person) according to the regulation, you master standard Office 360 suite tools, financial SAP programs, and offer programs (like CAN). Knowledge of Autocad and Revit BIM 3D software would be a plus. Additional requirements may be expected within the scope of the position.Joining SIG means participating in change!
